The Beneck Group, LLC

Christina Benson is the Occupational Therapist and Co-owner of The Beneck Group, LLC. In 2004, she graduated from Ashland University with a Bachelor of Science in Toxicology/Chemistry.  In 2006, she graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Master of Science in Neurobiology.  Most recently, in 2009, she graduated from The University of Toledo with a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy.  She is a member of the Ohio Occupational Therapy Association and the American Occupational Therapy Association.  Christina has provided occupational therapy services in numerous settings including acute care, in-patient hospital, skilled nursing facilities, home health care, and outpatient.  Christina insists, “To be human is to be occupational.” She believes that the ability to participate in meaningful occupation, no matter how simple or complex, is essential to all people!"

Carrie Eck is the Speech Language Pathologist and Co-owner of The Beneck Group, LLC. She graduated with a Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Bowling Green State University in 2012 and received her Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association (ASHA) in 2013.  Since becoming an SLP, Carrie has worked in a variety of  settings, including skilled nursing facilities, outpatient, long term acute care hospitals, and home health care. Carrie says that of all the settings she has worked in, home health was her favorite because, “I was able work with my patients in their ‘natural environment’ and, frequently, enlist the help of their families to make this happen.” Carrie believes in the importance of the continuum of care from inpatient all the way through to outpatient, which is why she and her colleague, Christina, were inspired to form The Beneck Group, LLC. Carrie values the importance of prompt, compassionate and individualized care and she is looking forward to providing this care for your patients!
